  A conversation (in Yiddish) between Eli Benedict and ‪‪‪Prof. ‪Claudia Rosenzweig. We discuss the fascinating history of Yiddish books and printing in the 16th century, and especially about Yiddish in Italy. Among those publications are well-known books such as Bovo-Bukh by Elye Bokher (Elijah Levita); Ku-Bukh and more. We also explore more broadly about Old and Middle Yiddish, and how they differ from Modern Yiddish, drawing on Rosenzweig’s research on these topics.
